About Me

I am beginning my 22nd year as a school counselor (all with Christoval), and I have worked as elementary counselor, K-12 counselor and in my current position as middle school and high school counselor. I graduated from Angelo State in 1992 with a degree in Kinesiology and a minor in English.  I spent several years working as a basketball/tennis coach and teaching English before I began working on my master’s degree.  I graduated from ASU in 1999 with my Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling.

My favorite part of my job is helping my students get into college and assisting them in obtaining as much financial aid as possible.  I enjoy helping them discover their passions and plan for their futures.

In my spare time, I play a lot of tennis and enjoy reading, kayaking and coaching tennis.
